Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation

Pursuant to resolution 79/235 the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on the United Nations Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation will take place on the following dates: 4-8 August 2025: First Session (New York) 11-15 August 2025: Second Session (New York) 10-21 November 2025: Third Session (Nairobi) The mandating resolution encourages international organizations, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders to contribute to the work of the intergovernmental negotiating committee in accordance with established practices.

  • The modalities for multi-stakeholder engagement as discussed and decided by the Committee at its Organizational Session are available through CRP.2 and its amendment CRP.6.

  • Special accreditation is applied for at the organizational level, requiring only one application per entity. Individuals may not apply for special accreditation.

  • Once an organization’s application for special accreditation is approved by the Committee, its representatives may register in INDICO platform. This approval process is scheduled to be finalized on 30 June

  • If your organization has already received accreditation to ECOSOC, DO NOT APPLY for this ad-hoc Special accreditation. Kindly visit the Committee's website to learn more about how to register for the Committee Meeting.

  • Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States, in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution. The name of the organization and country will be shared if requested.
