UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases and the Promotion of Mental Health
The UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health (NCDs) in 2025 is a key moment for Heads of State and Government, civil society, academia, philanthropies, and relevant private sector to come together to review progress and commit to accelerated action for the next phase of the response for NCDs. The overall theme of the high-level meeting will be “Equity and integration: transforming lives and livelihoods through leadership and action on noncommunicable diseases and the promotion of mental health and well - being”
Stakeholder Participation
As guided by resolution A/RES/79/273 other relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, whose work is relevant to the UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases and the Promotion of Mental Health.
Who is NOT required to apply for special accreditation?
Member States; UN System; Specialized Agencies and Related Organizations; UN Secretariat; Organization in consultative status with ECOSOC and Intergovernmental organization with observer status at the UN General Assembly

*This ad-hoc special accreditation applies at the organizational level, requiring only one application per entity. Individuals may not apply for special accreditation. *Organizations approved for participation will be informed and will receive additional instructions regarding the registration process for their representatives. *Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States in accordance with A/RES/79/273
