Third Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation
Pursuant to resolution 79/235 the Third Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on the United Nations Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation will take place on 10-21 November 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. The mandating resolution encourages international organizations, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders to contribute to the work of the intergovernmental negotiating committee in accordance with established practices.
The modalities for multi-stakeholder engagement as discussed and decided by the Committee at its Organizational Session are available through A/AC.298/3, paragraph 21.
Special accreditation is applied for at the organizational level, requiring only one application per entity. Individuals may not apply for special accreditation.
Once an organization’s application for special accreditation is approved by the Committee, its representatives may register in INDICO platform. This approval process is scheduled to be finalized on 3 October.
If your organization has already received special accreditation for the first and second sessions of the meeting (check the list here) or is in consultative status with UN ECOSOC, DO NOT APPLY for this ad-hoc special accreditation. Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States, in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution. The name of the organization and country will be shared if requested.
