Second World Summit for Social Development 2025
The Second World Summit for Social Development 2025, hosted by the government of Qatar, is a significant global event aimed at fostering inclusive social development and addressing key challenges to achieve well-being for all. The Conference will take place in Doha Qatar, from 4–6 November 2025. Accreditation is mandatory for all stakeholders wishing to attend the Summit and its related events. Accreditation granted for other UN Conferences does not transfer to WSSD2. Projects fiscally sponsored by parent entities may not apply for accreditation. The fiscal sponsor must apply with proof of its legal status.
Stakeholder Participation
As guided by resolution A/RES/78/318, other relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, whose work is relevant to the Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2).
Who is NOT required to apply for special accreditation?
Member States; UN System; Specialized Agencies and Related Organizations; UN Secretariat; Organization in consultative status with ECOSOC and Intergovernmental organization with observer status at the UN General Assembly
Kindly Note:
*This ad-hoc special accreditation applies at the organizational level, requiring only one application per entity. Individuals may not apply for special accreditation. *Organizations approved for participation will be informed and will receive additional instructions regarding the registration process for their representatives. *Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States in accordance with GA Resolution 78/318.
